TravelBlog: Lancaster, Pa

We did a lay over in Lancaster, Pa. - at the Brunswick Hotel. Funny experience that happened at the hotel included static on every TV channel (since we got in at 10pm I guess the staff didn't bother to turn on the channels - we left at 8am the next day). The tub also had no stopper so I opted for the shower.

Later I discovered a high-speed wireless network (ssid - highspeed). Because I have a slingbox I was able to tap into my channels at home. Other movie sites were also available.

In the morning the continental breakfast was extremely bare. With over 60 people grabbing at food for ten I thought to myself "only the strong survive". We headed for a road trip and we eventually found a Dunkin Donuts shop just a block away (out of the rear of the hotel via the upper lobby) - I knew the hotel staff could not be eating the slop they were serving us.

Not surprisingly I saw a couple of the staff outside getting their coffee and donuts.

Welcome to my Circle

It's amazing what one can do in this world. The ability to take the trivial and turn it inside out so that we are seeing not what is or what was, but what might have been. A journey of 1000 steps begins with one.

Light a candle and step into my circle.
